Bike Technician (Full-Time) Egaleo

Your objective :  As a Bike Technician, you will be the cornerstone of our workshop, ensuring our customers’ bikes are safe, reliable, and performing at their best. If you love cycling, have a meticulous approach to repairs, and enjoy interacting with customers, this is the perfect opportunity for you to grow within a leading sports retailer.

Your Responsibilities :

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and assembly on a wide range of bicycle types (Road, MTB, Hybrid, E-Bikes, etc.).

• Manage the bike workshop's daily operations, including ordering parts, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

• Provide advice and technical assistance to customers regarding repairs, accessories, and bike maintenance best practices.

• Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently, to the highest quality standards, and in compliance with safety regulations.

• Contribute to the commercial success of the store by promoting workshop services and Decathlon products.

• Maintain accurate records of all services performed.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

• Previous experience as a Bike Mechanic/Technician or in a similar role in a bike shop/retail environment.
• Technical knowledge and practical ability in diagnosing and repairing. Complete knowledge of spare parts, mechanics and accessories.
• Knowledge of English (for technical manuals and customer interaction).
